Players who are league age 7-8 that have participated for one regular season in the Tee Ball or Single A (coach pitch) Division are eligible to be selected to a AA Minor League Division team.
The Coach/Player Pitch AA division is intended to transition from coach pitch play to player pitch by seasons end. It consists primarily of league age 7-year-old Players who have played at least one season of the TEE Ball or Single A, as well as 8-year-olds. However, League Age 9-year-olds new to baseball may register for this division. This is an instructional division where players hit “live” balls pitched by their own coach from a short distance.
Soft, Reduced Injury Factor (RIF) balls are used for safety. Outfield defense positions are introduced, and the
basic fundamentals of baseball are reinforced.
